I'm a product designer based in London. Most recently I was the founding designer at Wendi, an AI coaching platform for managers. I led the research that figured out who we were actually building for, designed the info architecture the team built around, and took the product from prototype to first paying customer.
Before Wendi I did frontend at Samsung in Manila, then went to Seattle for an MS in Human-Centered Design at the University of Washington. While I was there I worked with King County Metro, running my own exploratory analysis on thousands of rider comments that weren't being tapped into or used — looking for where people's perception of safety might have diverged from what the crime data actually showed. Then I went home to the Philippines to get married, and we moved to London to build a life together.
Outside of work I'm a serial hobbyist and learner! I sew, 3d print, build mechanical keyboards and typically spend more hours building solutions to small things that would have been cheaper to buy.
Experience
Founding Product Designer · Wendi, an AI coaching platform for people managers
- Led 40+ discovery interviews across 3 script iterations, surfacing the insight that shifted the target from technical leaders to HR managers — the company's first real ICP, and its primary sales asset.
- Designed the product's information architecture (per-person timelines, an inbox for unassigned items, a restorable archive) that replaced an unused dashboard and gave engineering the skeleton they built from.
- Reframed the product around people and situations (underperformance, grievance, probation) rather than the AI chat itself — which became how the company positioned itself.
- Built the design system from zero (Figma + shadcn/ui, AAA contrast) and set up a structured engineering handoff.
- Onboarded the first paying customer, converting feedback into tickets and shipping 12+ improvements the same day.
Graduate UX Designer · King County Metro
- Ran independent exploratory analysis on 10,000+ rider comments (Python, NLTK) — an underused data source no prior team had cracked — mapping rider-perceived safety against actual crime data.
- Built an R package to automate quarterly survey processing for 1,000+ households, cutting turnaround from a week to two days.
- Redesigned Power BI dashboards to WCAG 2.1 compliance.
Frontend Engineer · Samsung R&D
- Rebuilt the frontend library of a 5G network management app in TypeScript/React for 2x faster load times.
- Designed and shipped interfaces for two national-scale Samsung learning platforms.
- Led weekly technical demos for cross-functional teams at Samsung Korea HQ.
